Our Story
ILT Golf Vacations has over 40 years of experience in creating, promoting, and operating group golf vacation programs worldwide, most recently specializing in Mexico and Hawaii. We are by far the largest traveler of golfers in all of Northern California.
ILT Golf Vacations was founded by Joe M. Flake and his wife, Laraine Whelan-Flake in 1985, and has been a family business ever since. Joe was a pioneer since 1973 in the development of non-stop charters from the Bay Area to destinations in which non-stop service is not provided by scheduled airlines. His wife Laraine was responsible for Reservations and Operations for ILT Golf Vacations.
In 2016, Joe and Laraine's son Tyler Flake became President of ILT Golf Vacations following the retirement of its founders. He has been with the family business for more than a decade serving as Director of Operations.
ILT specializes only in group tours, buying directly from the source and passing those savings on to its passengers. This is why we are able to offer such a tremendous value on our trips like no other company can.
